Okay, so I guess I have to ask... what is the consensus on my painting skills. Constructive criticism is the only way to improve, right?

Personally, I think I fall in the 5 to 6 range, with occassional flashes of 7.

I'd agree with your assessment. A rated it based on the best stuff I've seen out of you which is definitely a 7 maybe pushing an 8.
